Process

My work has relied on the use of bright, prismatic colors and the layering of textures and transparencies. I use mainly acrylics while also introducing mixed media such as napkins, crayon, glitter and fabric paint. Lately I have been experimenting with the cutting and ripping of canvas and paper, finding small details and the profound beauty that lies in the little moments in our lives. This process is a reminder to slow down, to appreciate the fleeting details that often pass us by, and to find meaning in the seemingly insignificant. My art serves as a visual reminder to pause, to pay attention, and to find solace in the small details that have the power to uplift our spirits.
